The Dr. Sai Kumar Vyadhi Nivarana Ashram was founded by Pujya Sadguru Sri Sai Kumar Babaji in the year 1973 and established in Padmarao Nagar, Secunderabad in 1982.

Pujya Sadguru Babaji is an ardent devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba, an Ayurvedic Doctor, a yoga exponent, a Yogi and a profound mystic of our times, a visionary humanitarian and a spiritual leader. Sadguruji works tirelessly towards the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of all. He strongly believes in healing the body, mind by appropriately adapting Spirituality, Ayurveda, Naturopathy towards a healthier way of living.

During childhood, Sadguruji often had a vision of Shirdi Sai Baba with a face quite young appearing to be in his forties sitting in a hall completely structured with stone. As a result, a 6ft. marble idol of Sai Baba was installed in the Sai Darbar of Dr. Sai Kumar Vyadhi Nivarana Ashram on Thursday, May 6th 1982 amidst colorful rituals performed for nine consecutive days.

ABOUT SAI BABA : At a time when the ill-feelings of castes and religious intolerance were corrupting the minds of people, when people were moving away from Divinity, when hypocrisy and deception, insincerity and falsehood were a blot on morality, when people deviated from the noble path, when men degraded themselves to the level of beasts and when there was all round chaos in society, the Light of lights shone bright in Shirdi.

The divine energy who walked the streets of Shirdi in torn clothes and ate left overs, who had no possessions, stayed in a dilapidated mosque, but distributed health, wealth and happiness from His tattered jholi; burnt the karmas of His devotees in His ever burning dhuni. The Kali Yuga magnetic force who touches and connects with everyone irrespective of caste, creed or religion is Shirdi Sai Baba.

Revered today as the Incarnation of God, Sai Babas earthly life was enshrouded in contradictions and mystery. There is no authentic record of Sai Babas birth and parentage. Sai Babas appearance was an affirmation of the Immaculate Conception. The saints own utterances about His origin were pregnant with innuendoes hinting at His supernatural emergence into the world.

I am the Self seated in the hearts of all beings. As declared by Sri Krishna in the Srimad Bhagawad Geetha, Sai Baba proclaimed that He was present in all beings and that every creature on earth was one with Him.

Countless are the sincere devotees who perceived in Sai the Supreme God in His various forms. He who limits Sai Baba to Shirdi has totally failed to see Him. Time and again Sai used to say: I am not at Shirdi only but in all creatures. I am All Pervading.

The life of Sai Baba is as deep as the ocean and as holy as the Ganges. Sai Baba spoke of one Supreme Truth always: Sab Ka Malik Ek (God is One for All). As the air, water and sun sustain the whole of creation without any differentiation, even so, the Divine is only one for the entire creation. He exhorted the people to demolish all artificial barriers of caste and creed and stand united, replacing fanaticism with love and fraternity. As all rivers flow into the mighty ocean, so also the various paths which men take ultimately lead to the same goal and merge in the Supreme Consciousness.

Blessed are the people of Shirdi, in front of whose houses, Baba stood for bhiksha and called out, Oh ! Mai, give Me a piece of bread and spread out His jholi (a cloth bag dangling over His shoulder) to receive the same. He visited certain houses only. But it is no exaggeration to say that today He visits all those houses in the world who sincerely and whole heartedly call Him from the depth of their hearts.

It is perhaps in the Sai Darbar that we can most fully experience the phenomenon of Sai Baba and the remarkable way he has touched the hearts and lives of millions of people from all over the globe. Babas omniscient presence is felt when one has Babas glance, when one sits in the Sai Darbar.

His life was inscrutable, beyond the ken of our mind, intellect and speech. His ways and actions are indescribable. The rich and the poor were both same to Him. He spoke freely, mixed with all people and watched their plays and dances. While the world awoke He slept and while the world slept He was vigilant. His inner self was as calm as the deep sea and though He sat (lived) in one place, He knew all the transactions of the world. He is Omni potent, Omnipresent and Omniscient.

He never said: I am God but that, He was a humble servant. He always remembered Him and kept uttering Allah Malik. He gave us what we wanted, but did we really give Him what He wanted? No! He always said: My Sarkar says, take, take but everyone comes to Me and says, give, give My Sarkars treasury is full, it is overflowing. Dig it out and take away in cartloads. His ways and His living was an example for us to live as our standards but none ever knew what Sai really wanted. He came on a mission, but did He really complete it or not, we do not know. Though few devotees like Mahlsapathi, Shama, Bhaija Bai, Tatya, Nanavali, Hemadripant were dear to Him, none became His successor. He lived the way of life to show what He wanted. But many could not accomplish His tasks. His words remain to guide us. He always said: My treasury is full and I can give anyone what he wants, but I have to see, whether he is qualified to receive My gift. If you listen to Me carefully, you will certainly be benefitted. While sitting in the Masjid I never speak any untruth.

Sai Babas words established its efficacy and greatness, while He was living in the mortal frame, but it did the same even after His passing away. Sai said: Believe Me, though I pass away. My bones in My tomb would be speaking, moving and communicating with those, who would surrender themselves whole-heartedly to Me. Do not be anxious that, I would be absent from you. You will hear My bones speaking and discussing your welfare. But remember me always, believe in Me, heart and soul and you will be most benefitted.

God incarnates come in to the world with the specific objective of protecting the innocent, destroying the wicked and re-establishing righteousness. As soon as their mission is completed they dispense with their mortal frame and leave the world, attaining Maha Samadhi. With the passing away of Sai Baba, one would not consider it to be the end of a glorious chapter. Contrarily, the blessed phase has just begun.

Sai Baba left behind a legacy of priceless possessions, the illimitable Divine Treasure of His Teachings, saturated with the nectar of love, compassion and humaneness. He left His footprints in the shifting sands of time; footprints that remain deeply embedded even as time passes relentlessly. His wonderful teachings are like precious dew of time just as a freshly cut diamond shines in all its maiden glory catching the brilliant light of the dazzling Sun!

Since the last one and a quarter of a century, many seasons have come and gone, many years have passed by. The days have changed, man has changed, the world has changed, but the wonderful Leelas of Sai Baba remain unaltered. The glory of Sai Baba lives on unchanging, unceasing, unfading!
